I am a student of computer science at the University of Rostock in my 8th term. I usually don't have much to say about me; the easiest way to learn something about me is probably simply to ask me :-)
My primary interests are still not quite clear, even to me. It certainly includes Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction/Interface Design and Computer Graphics. But as for any other topics, I'm still quite unsure.
As you may see from numerous posts here, I primarily do use Windows (currently Windows 7) and I have a faible for esoteric or unusual programming languages. I have done many things with the Windows Command Processor (cmd.exe) that some would call downright stupid and a waste of time. However I find joy in such things.
Furthermore I am currently employed at the university in the area of modelling and simulation, where I am working on a minuscule part on a gigantomaniac modelling and simulation system called JAMES II. Previously I have worked there primarily on (pseudo)random number generators and tests for ensuring their quality. Since then I have shifted my work to the graphical user interface.
I have previously worked on a massively multiplayer online browser game, called Uga-Agga and while I don't work anymore on that game (others do) I still have the intent of some day doing a browser game again, but possibly another one.
